Zhenfeng Zhao

With his solid math and engineering background, Zhenfeng started his career on signal processing projects in 2003, and decided to do a graduate degree in computer science in related areas. He then worked on challenging medical image processing and computer vision applications and algorithms. When at Indepth Navigation from 2007 to 2009, he led the software R&D for cutting edge 3D modeling software, and won a large global contract from Google, Inc. He has been a contributor for Gimp, Inkscape, OpenCV and Hugin.  Zhenfeng was hired by Google in the global GSCO program three times, working on leading open source applications. When he worked in Protocase Inc in Cape Breton, he did Java programming and architecture rewrite for Protocase Designer. This advanced CAD engineering tool is used by thousands of clients per year and helped to bring in $5 million in revenue in 2010. Since 2010, Zhenfeng has focused on advanced web technology and database areas.
