Jasper van Beusekom

Jasper graduated in 2003 with a Computer Science degree from Dalhousie University; however, his experience administering multi-user UNIX systems goes back to 1995. Prior to joining NewPace, he worked as a System Administrator at AOL, where he led the “telephony applications and switching group” that was responsible for the telephony infrastructure serving over a million customers. Jasper is a flexible senior Linux/UNIX system administrator whose core competencies include: triage and troubleshooting complex network and application issues, abuse investigations and pre-emptive statistical analyses, and the technical coordination of large new deployments among geographically separated teams. Jasper is personally motivated to improve platform reliability and availability. He enjoys contributing usability, scalability and security perspectives to product design discussions.
