Christina Carew
Christina is an accredited business communicator with more than 13 years experience in marketing and communications with brands locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. She has worked for a variety of agencies as well as on the client side from two-person organizations to those having more than thousands of employees globally. Throughout these opportunities she has developed a host of transferable skills that have provided her with a strong foundation.
Christina has developed and implemented public relations, marketing and business strategies across North America and in Europe in a variety of areas that include: corporate, not-for-profit, consumer products, travel and tourism, sports and recreation, telecommunications, technology, healthcare, food andnutrition and entertainment.
Christina is the past president of IABC Maritime Canada, and has conducted several years of development and advocacy for thegroup to increase their profile. She attended the University of Waterloo where she graduated with an Honours BA in International Political Science with minors in Peace and Conflict Studies, International Studies and Legal Studies. Christina is one of nine accredited business communicators (ABC’s) in Maritime Canada, and is one of 902 internationally. She has a passion for knowing what is going on in the world, and striving to improve it.
