NewPace is now accepting applications for Software Quality Assurance Engineers at the Intermediate experience level (5-10 years). You will be working on application and system design, development, and testing in the mobile messaging and telecommunications space and joining a team of experienced software and quality engineers. These positions will be based out of our Bedford, NS location.

Quality Assurance Engineer Requirements

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • UNIX operating systems
  • Network protocol analysis
  • Perl and awk/gawk scripting
  • Familiarity with automated test tools
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • BONUS: Web-based protocols (HTTP/HTTPS in particular), SIP, XCAP, XMPP, ENUM, CORBA, Mercury or other automated test harnesses

Quality Assurance Engineer Responsibilities

  • Design, document, and execute test plans, including the development of scripts in support of those plans
  • Communicate effectively with the development team to convey test results.
  • Work with a team dedicated to providing products of the highest quality.
